I got $125.03 worth of groceries at
Shaw's and Hannaford for just $5.97!

I saved 95%

Most of what you see in the photo was purchased at Shaw's.  The only things I got at Hannaford were sugar and cream (for my mother, to go with the fresh berries!), a can of beets and one lonely tomato.  I paid only 29¢ for those four items.

Everything else was purchased at Shaw's in separate transactions so I could use various $5 off and $2 off that I got from Shaw's email referrals. The rest of the savings was all from coupons. I also planned it so I could take advantage of two special deals that were going on so I saved an additional $12 on the cereal ($6/4 boxes and I did it twice) and also another deal where you buy a certain 10 items and get $5 off (I did that twice too!).  I had coupons for everything and most of the coupons doubled.  It was a lot of planning, but it was fun and it was worth it!!!  One of my transactions came out to exactly ZERO! What fun!

I got the following:

24 boxes of Suddenly Salad
8 boxes of cereal
6 boxes of Hamburger/Tuna/Chicken Helper
2 boxes of cake mix
2 tubs of frosting
4 containers of black/red raspberries
1 pint of cream
1 box of sugar
1 can of beets
1 tomato

Oh, I forgot the diet coke!!!  I picked up a diet coke for just 4¢ using a $1.00/1 coke coupon. I drank it, which is why it's not in the picture.  And no, I did not add rum.

Total Price:  $125.03
(not including the soda)
I paid:  $5.97

Total Savings: $119.06

I saved 95%
It's my biggest shoping trip to date!

Pasta salad, anyone?
