Walking
My Way To 279.5
Most of you know me and you know how much
I hate walking! So I'm forcing myself to walk. You can see
my previous walking chart here.
This time I'm doing something different. I have got to lose this
next 10 pounds so I'm going to force myself to walk 1 mile a day 5 days
a week until I reach my next 10 pound goal which will be when I reach 279.5.
It may take me a year to do it at the rate that I'm going but maybe forcing
myself to walk will encourage me to cut back on the soup a bit and lose
the weight a bit faster! Here I go!
As you can see I had to take a lot of time
off because I seriously hurt my knee. But I think I can start walking
again. I'm going to only do 1/2 a mile a day for one week and my
week now starts on Thursday because I get weighed at TOPS on Wednesday.
Since I only have 1/4 pound left to lose to reach my goal I think 1/2 mile
a day will be good enough. It's certainly better than nothing!
And I think my knee will be able to stand 1/2 mile. Then I will think
up a new walking chart. And I'm never jogging on that treadmill again!
At least not until I lose at least 50 pounds. I'm just too heavy
to jog because obviously my knees can't take it.

My Way to Spring in 8 Weeks!

I'm walking my way to
Spring! Spring starts Friday, March 20. By then I'll have walked
5 times a week for 8 weeks and will have worked my way up to 2 miles a
day. And to be honest, 2 miles a day sounds horrible to me!
Not only horrible, but totally impossible too! But I think knowing
that spring is on the way will get me through it! So here I go!!!
I
did it! I finished my 8 week walking chart!
I wish I could say I
enjoyed it but the last two weeks were terrible and I'm glad it's over.
But I did what I set out to do and that's what counts. My next chart
will start on Monday... won't push myself as hard but will still be walking!
